In November 2007 Randy Cox suffered a stroke. At right are some photographs taken Sunday, December 30, 2007. According to Mr. Lawyer Cox (Randy's father) seeing friends has made a world of difference in Randy's healing process! Additional photographs (below) were taken Easter Sunday Afternoon - March 23, 2008 when Patricia and I made a surprise visit to see Randy! Randy - along with his brother - Lawyer (Junior) and father ("Mr. Lawyer") were overwhelmed by our visit.
According to Lawyer Jr ... "All Randy talks about is his Corry '67 friends ... now that I've met a few of yawl (along with looking at the photos) and knowing more about yawl's reunions I see the special bond, love and genuine friendship yawl have maintained over the years. I haven't seen Randy this excited and smiling since last November. Thank you for coming!"
Randy's healing process includes mental, physical, spiritual and visits from family and friends. Since November (2007) and March (2008) there were vast improvements in Randy's physical condition, speech and other areas! At a minimum give him a call (901/948-5402) and if possible - go by and spend some time with him! Randy ... We All Love You!
